Working with Parents

“Do not confine your children to your own learning, for they were born in another time.” – Chinese Proverb

Since May 2010 MSN has been running workshops for parents at the V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green. The classes run on Saturdays over six weeks in both morning and afternoon sessions and have proved to be extremely popular.

The classes are led by Montessori educators and aim to give parents the opportunity to explore the Montessori approach, share experiences and access information and ideas on bringing up happy, confident and independent children. Topics include: being a parent, playing with children, helping children thrive and grow, daily routines, relationships, talking with children and setting boundaries.

See below pictures of the workshop for parents at the V&A Museum of Childhood.

Further information on the workshop for parents can be found on the MCI training section of this website.

Have a look at the parent section of this website to see why many parents choose the Montessori approach to nurture their children.
