Montessori Apparatus Workshop Sold Out

Montessori St Nicholas, the leading charity for Montessori in the UK, is excited to announce another sold out summer season for its 11-day London Apparatus Workshop. Almost 100 Montessori Centre International students are booked on to the Workshop which runs twice, in July and August respectively.

The workshop is a compulsory element of the new Diploma inMontessori Pedagogy Birth to Seven (Early Years Educator) Level 3 & 4 course for those students who are studying via distance learning, as well as the Integrating Montessori Practice course.

The workshop is guided by experienced MCI tutors who take students through the use and application of the materials across all areas of the Montessori curriculum.

The workshop culminates  in a practical assessment and professional discussion to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the materials.

Penny Johns, Director of Studies at Montessori Centre International says, The Apparatus Workshop offers our students invaluable, hands-on experience with the Montessori materials. It puts theory into practice and also allows students to forge friendships and share their learning journey with a global community of Montessorians. Many of our distance learning students travel from across the world to attend.

“The workshop is designed to be  intensive but transformative. Our students complete the course, confident in their knowledge and skills to work as Montessori educators in UK and international settings.

“We are particularly excited to welcome our first group of Early Years Educator students to the 2015 Summer Workshops.  Thirty-five EYE students will undertake the Apparatus Workshop this Summer.

Montessori Centre International is a vibrant community of students from all over the world who come to learn about the Montessori approach and what it offers young children.   It is the first Montessori training provider to offer an integrated Early Years Educator qualification on the National Qualifications Framework and runs a range of Level 3, 4 and 5 courses for students interested in training as Montessori educators. It also supports qualified practitioners with a continual professional development programme of seminars and workshops throughout the year.
