We’re delighted to announce Leslee Udwin and Amber Paulson from Think Equal, will be delivering an informative seminar about their education programme for nursery age children from 3 – 6 years of age, focusing on personal and social development based on story telling. It’s taking place on Saturday 10 November at our Montessori Centre International training college. To book your place contact Barbara Isaacs by Tuesday 30 October 2018.
This programme has been endorsed by, amongst others, Susan Sarandon, Meryl Streep, and Helen Mirren, and has the patronage of Sir Ken Robinson, Dr Marc Bracket (Founder and Director, Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence) and many other prominent thought leaders in the field who have contributed to the programme. St. Nicholas have supported this programme from its inception and have provided strong underpinning for its principles and values which align well with Montessori’s.
Leslee’s commitment is to deliver the programme nationally across all continents and effect a fundamental social change in our attitudes to diversity, inclusion and respect for difference. The Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence is evaluating the initial pilot of the scheme in 9 countries across 5 continents (Sri Lanka, Botswana, Kenya, Canada, Singapore India, Argentina, Mexico, Spain and Australia). Initial results (from the Botswana pilot 2017) are extremely strong.
By attending this seminar you will have an opportunity to learn about the programme and explore possibilities of being involved with it in the UK. Find out more about Think Equal.
