I’ve got a secret. It’s one that could change the life of people who want to work in Early Years. It’s so potent that once you know it, your career may never be the same again. I just can’t keep it to myself any more. Ready? Here goes…

MONTESSORI QUALIFICATIONS ARE NOT JUST FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO WORK IN MONTESSORI!

I feel better now. Thank you.

In my job I have the pleasure of speaking every day to folks who are wondering if studying with MCI is what they’re looking for. Most of them know of Montessori, or perhaps have had personal experience of a setting, and know that it’s the way they want to take their careers.

But here’s the thing that so many students DON’T know: a qualification in Montessori can make you much more favourable to ANY Early Years employer – not just a Montessori setting.

With a Montessori qualification under your belt you will enter the world of working in Early Years with a unique insight into how best you can support the children under your care. A specialist qualification like ours is likely to make you a much more intriguing candidate, a more valuable employee and (we like to think) an altogether more interesting human!

If you’re thinking of starting a career in Early Years now you’re on the other side of your GCSE’s, and are over 18 years old, we’ve got options for you:

With 3 GCSEs at C or above (including Maths and English or NARIC) you can apply for Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy (Early Years Educator)

Studying at Level 3, it’s a nationally recognised qualification with the flexibility of part-time or online study over a maximum of 2 years. The course includes professional placement in a Montessori setting, and the option to progress on to a Foundation Degree.

With a level 3 qualification in Early Years you can apply for Integrating Montessori Practice (IMP)

An innovative blended learning course for those who are already early years practitioners, or qualified teachers, and want to add Montessori to their qualifications. Study flexibly at your own pace with support from a dedicated MCI tutor, and workshops at venues convenient for you.

Or…

With a keen interest to learn more about Montessori you can apply for Introducing the Montessori Approach (IMA).
