Methods of Payment

You can benefit from discounted course fees if you pay for your course in full before the start of your study. Alternatively you can pay in instalments.

Registration Fee

On acceptance of your offer of a place you will need to pay a non-refundable/non-transferable registration fee of £100.

Additional Course Costs

You will need to buy some additional compulsory course books as highlighted on the reading list. These books can be bought online from our bookstore. Course modules are available online or can be bought as hard copy from the shop.

Student Finance

For students to be eligible for SLC funding they must be studying on a designated course

To be granted course designation the College needs to meet certain criteria set out by the Government. In particular, they need to prove that:

  • teaching quality at the provider meets minimum standards
  • the provider’s financial health is secure

This means that, if the Government has designated a course, you can feel confident in the quality of its teaching and the immediate future of the organisation.  Only courses that have been granted designation are available on the Student Loans Company (SLC) for student support applications.

MCIis listed as a designated provider on the HEFCE Register of training providers

Professional and Career Development Loans

If you are not eligible for student finance you might want to consider applying for a Professional and Career Development Loan which are bank loans to pay for courses and training. You may be able to borrow between £300 and £10,000. Loans are usually offered at a reduced interest rate and the government pays interest while you re studying. For more information, click here.

Birts Bursary

These bursaries can be awarded to support those who wish to become Montessori teachers but struggle to find the fees necessary to undertake the course. For more information about making an application, click here. We particularly welcome applications from male applicants, who are currently under-represented in Montessori training.

Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions of your commitment to pay the tuition fees are stated on the registration form. Acceptance on the course is conditional upon your agreement to these terms and conditions. Fees are due prior to the above payment dates. Please note that failure to meet the instalment payment dates may result in suspension from the course.

Location of Delivery

Please note, the precise location of delivery is likely change to an alternative site in London during 2018.
