If you are studying the Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy – Birth to Seven (Early Years Educator) course as an Online Learner or following the Integrating Montessori Practice (IMP) course, then an essential part of your course will be the 88-hour Apparatus Workshop.
Here you will gain the essential hands-on, practical experience with the Montessori materials. You will be guided by experienced Montessori specialists in the use and application of the materials across all areas of the Montessori curriculum.
The workshop culminates with a practical assessment and professional discussion to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the materials and how they are used with children.
We offer a range of workshop locations and dates across the UK and internationally including workshops at Easter and in August in London.

Choosing a Preferred Workshop
You will be invited to select a first and second choice of workshop. There are a wide variety of locations around the UK, and also overseas, so you are not limited to coming to London. If you would like more information on any of these settings please have a look at the Workshop Information Booklets above. Have a look at where each workshop is being held and the facilities they offeryou may find something ideal for your circumstances. Some workshops are 2 week blocks; others are split and held over half-terms. We also offer a rolling workshopthat is Saturdays only in London. This year childcare is also being offered at selected workshops – see the booklets for details.
Whilst every effort is made to give you a place at your preferred workshop we cannot guarantee every student a place at their first choice due to limitations on numbers attending. Your workshop will be confirmed as soon as possible, but a minimum of six weeks before the workshop starts.
Please note each workshop has a minimum number of students required to make the workshop viable, so there is a possibility that your chosen workshop will not go ahead.
