MCI Workshops
Students studying the Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy – Birth to Seven (Early Years Educator) online or those following the Integrating Montessori Practice (IMP), have an 88-hour Apparatus Workshop as an essential part of the course.
The workshops are a fantastic opportunity to gain the essential hands-on, practical experience with the Montessori materials. You will be guided by experienced Montessori specialists in the use and application of the materials across all areas of the Montessori curriculum. It culminates with a practical assessment and professional discussion to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the materials and how they are used with children.
We offer a range of workshop locations and dates across the UK and internationally including workshops at Easter and in August in London. View the full 2020 workshop schedule.
These workshops are available to students who are already enrolled with us – to book your place you will need to log in to the VLE.

Choosing a Preferred Workshop
You will be invited to select a first and second choice of workshop. There are a wide variety of locations around the UK, and also overseas, so you are not limited to coming to London. If you would like more information on any of these settings please have a look at the Workshop Information Booklets above. Have a look at where each workshop is being held and the facilities they offer you may find something ideal for your circumstances. Some workshops are 2 week blocks; others are split and held over half-terms. We also offer a rolling workshop that is Saturdays only in London. This year childcare is also being offered at selected workshops – see the booklets for details.
Whilst every effort is made to give you a place at your preferred workshop we cannot guarantee every student a place at their first choice due to limitations on numbers attending. Your workshop will be confirmed as soon as possible, but a minimum of six weeks before the workshop starts.
Please note each workshop has a minimum number of students required to make the workshop viable, so there is a possibility that your chosen workshop will not go ahead.
