The monitoring visit resulted in the following outcome: The QAA monitoring team has concluded that Montessori Centre International are making acceptable progress in implementing the action plan from the Adapted Review for Specific Course Designation.
Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy Birth to Seven (Early Years Educator) Level 3 & Level 4
The Diploma EYE qualification has been approved by the National College for Teaching and Leadership as meeting the full and relevant criteria required for those wishing to enter the workforce as Early Years Educators. The Level 3 and Level 4 Diplomas are accredited by NCFE CACHE the leading specialist Awarding Organisation for the Care and Education sector.
The qualification was developed jointly between Montessori Centre International, Crossfields Institute, an education charity specialising in holistic and integrative education, and NCFE CACHE. This is the first Montessori qualification to be regulated by Ofqual on the National Qualification Framework.
Foundation Degree in Montessori Early Childhood Practice
The FdA was validated by London Metropolitan University in 2009 and was successfully revalidated in 2013. It was developed to meet the demand in the work place for well qualified Montessori Early Childhood specialists who can demonstrate high levels of professional competence and apply knowledge and skills effectively in practice. It provides a degree level qualification for the Montessori community.
