VICE PRINCIPAL VACANCY

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Vice Principal to join our supportive, professional and highly experienced team.

You will have a flexible approach, a positive attitude and the ability to build positive constructive working relationships with children, colleagues, parents, students and other professionals as appropriate.

You will be a key member of the Management team acting as a positive role model to practitioners and supporting the Principal in the delivery and maintenance of an outstanding service. We hope that the ideal candidate will take over the management of the school as we expand.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillhave:

  • Early Years Foundation Degree (desirable but not essential)
  • Montessori International Diploma (essential)
  • Leadership/Management qualification
  • Experience with OFSTED inspections/Montessori Accreditation an advantage

Job duties summary:

  • Working closely alongside the school Principal
  • Act as designated cover on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and whenever else is required
  • To confidently guide a small group of children through their individual developmental stages and learning journey
  • To maintain high standards of safe guarding, care and education
  • To effectively lead and manage a small team of teachers and assistants including providing day to day guidance, training and support to all practitioners
  • Working with children as part of staff-ratio according to rota requirements as well as covering for any staff absence
  • Ensuring the record keeping and filing are maintained at high standard throughout the school
  • Adhering to Health and Safety policies, maintaining risk assessments and relevant documentation
  • Working in partnership with parents to pro-actively support children’s care and development
  • Attend parent seminars and promotional days
  • Prepared to work in all weather conditions as part of our outdoor learning programme

MONTESSORI TEACHER VACANCY

We are looking for a full time Montessori Teacher to join our supportive, professional and highly experienced team, to work in our vertically grouped, open planned classrooms to support in preparing and maintaining the Montessori and outdoor learning environments on a daily basis for either our toddlers 18 months–3 years or our pre-school 3–6 years.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillhave:

  • Montessori Early Years Diploma (we will consider newly qualified Montessori applicants)
  • Montessori and an Early Years Foundation Degree an advantage
  • Sound knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Experience within a vertically grouped classroom is essential
  • Safeguarding Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • D.B.S.
