Part-time Academic Lecturer– Montessori Centre International

Salary:               £30,000 – £33,000 (pro rata)                 Closes:   Weds 1st May

Hours:               0.5 FTE (2 ½ days per week)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract – 1 year

This is an opportunity for someone to join the academic team at MCI on a fixed term one-year contract, in the first instance, to teach across the Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy – Birth to Seven (Early Years Educator) and the Cert HE/Foundation Degree.   We are particularly interested in applicants who may have one or more of the following specialisms: child development; observation; working with the under 3’s; Montessori Philosophy and/or any of the Montessori Curriculum Areas. Experience of working with parents and other stakeholders would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone with experience of supporting and assessing MCI students and is familiar with Moodle.  You must have an MCI Diploma (International or EYE), a BA (Hons) and ideally have completed the MCI Trainer’s Course.
