This is an opportunity for someone to join the academic team at MCI on a fixed term one-year contract, to teach Level 4 students on our Foundation Degree/Cert HE in Montessori Early Childhood Practice from September 2018.
We are looking for someone who already has experience of supporting and assessing MCI students and is familiar with Moodle. You must have an MCI Diploma (International or EYE), a BA (Hons) and ideally have also completed the MCI Trainer’s Course.
The module, Perspectives on Children’s Development and Well-Being introduces students to a range of theories relating to young children’s development and a range of observational techniques. The module also considers a range of issues and policies relating to the health, well-being and safeguarding of young children and their families and their impact on early childhood provision and practice.
The module runs on a Friday morning from September to May, consisting of 24 teaching weeks.
