¥300k to 360k depending on experience

The JOYING INTERNATIONAL is a newly established educational group in Shenzhen (close to Hong Kong), China. We aim to provide high quality early Education and Care for children aged between two and six year’s old. The founders of the company are UK-based educators who have profound understanding of the educational system of both countries. Through the integration of best practices and concepts of the Western and the Chinese early educational sector together, a unique set of curriculums are designed to inspire and motivate the young innovators.

Responsibilities of the Role

For Nursery Assistant:

  1. Offer high quality teaching in scheduled classes as outlined in the contract. Class hours may include but not limited to, scheduled lessons, outside teaching, education promotional events, etc.;
  2. Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues;
  3. Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times;
  4. Supporting the team in building relationship with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS;
  5. Undertake professional development, teaching observation and review;

In addition to the responsibilities listed above…

Nursery Assistant is also expected to:

  1. Role models and monitor the delivery of rich play learning opportunities that help all children develop and meet their individual needs;
  2. Ensuring the provision of an inspiring and stimulating environment for children in both the indoor and outdoor area;
  3. Lead, mentor an inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education and to promote and support professional development;
  4. Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies;
  5. Working as part of the larger team to ensure all essential day to day tasks are completed in line with the nursery demands, e.g. hygiene standards and room preparation;


  1. Native English Speaker;
  2. Bachelor degree or above;
  3. A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS);
  4. Working hours: 40 hrs/weekly, Monday to Friday; additional teaching on Saturdays would be required occasionally;
  5. Clean criminal record;
  6. Have previous childcare or nursery experience;
  7. Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
