Blended Learning Teaching Assistant. Part-time lecturer
Wendelien Bellinger has a BA in Management and Marketing, a BA (Hons) in Scandinavian Literature and Languages, and received her International Montessori Diploma at MCI in 2015.
Wendelien fell in love with the Montessori method when her daughter started at a Montessori Nursery. She volunteered at the Nursery and eventually retrained to become a Montessori early years practitioner, leaving behind the corporate world she had been working in since leaving university. Following her training, she worked, first as a key worker and subsequently as Deputy Head and SENCo at the Nursery where she did her practical placement.
Wendelien is keen to empower students to strengthen their Montessori voices which is why, after several years in the nursery classroom she has stepped away and entered the classrooms of MCI as a lecturer. Always up for a new challenge, Wendelien has also taken on the role of Blended Learning Teaching Assistant, supporting the Academic Team as they deliver the range of training opportunities MCI has to offer in a flexible way, combining classroom based with online sessions.
