Vasiliki holds a BA (Hons) in ‘Early Childhood Education’ (with QTS) and an MA in ‘Learning, Technology and Education’ from the University of Nottingham, in which she explored how new technologies and novel educational practices (e.g. game-based learning, blended learning) can be applied within schools, universities and the workplace to support effective learning.

Vasiliki is a qualified teacher and has an international experience in teaching pre-school and primary school students (including children with special needs). She has also acted as the principal investigator for several studies focused on young students’ social interaction during their learning and play. In her previous role, Vasiliki led the development of MOOCs and modules at a postgraduate level for fully online and blended degrees from a learning design perspective. She worked very closely with academic teams and colleagues to ensure that learners’ experiences are interactive, inclusive and engaging.

In her role as an eLearning Developer at Montessori Centre International (MCI), Vasiliki is responsible for the design and development of MOOCs for global learners as well as CPD programs by using the OpenEdX platform.
