Director of Marketing and External Relations
James joined Montessori St Nicholas as Senior Marketing Manager in August 2018. In January 2019 James was promoted to his current position of Director of Marketing and External Relations.
James is an international marketing and communications professional with over 15 years’ experience working in management roles across the education, charity, research, digital publishing and media sectors.
Between 2012-2015 James was fortunate enough to work in the Galapagos Islands as the marketing and communications lead for international research charity, Charles Darwin Foundation. During this time James built the Islands’ most followed social media channels and was responsible for delivering a global fundraising campaign which raised £1m in unrestricted income – the largest public campaign result in the organisation’s history.
Other previous employers include: Master Investor Ltd, Sogang University in Seoul, Sheffield Hallam University and Music Factory Entertainment Group. James holds a post-graduate degree in Direct and Digital marketing.
