The Montessori Schools Association has worked closely with the Department for Children, Schools and Families to show how the Montessori approach to education shares the underlying principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Our booklet, ‘Guide to the Early Years Foundation Stage in Montessori Settings’ shows how the Montessori approach to planning, to the areas of learning and to assessment meets these Montessori approaches which Montessorians have used for over a hundred years.
