Alison now owns Rooftops Montessori Nursery in Richmond, North Yorkshire having run several Montessori nurseries in Hampshire before her move north. She is currently running a series of infant toddler training weekends which are proving very popular among members of R4.

The region covers a large geographical area and Alison hopes to be able to hold regional meetings in different locations so that everyone has a chance to attend. If you are willing to host such an event at your setting, please contact Alison.

In March June Rowlands ran a yoga training day in Richmond and those who attended are now able to lead yoga sessions for children ranging in age from babies to 5 years. Everyone had a great time learning how to improve their posture, exploring warming up exercises, breathing techniques and a variety of yoga movements, along with relaxation and calming exercises – often a must after a busy day.  It was lovely to work with a teacher who understood the Montessori classroom and our aims.
