The MSA National Conference 2012 explores the latest neuroscience research on how to effectively support young children’s learning and development.  We have brought together renowned experts who understand child development and will show what can be done to provide children with the best start in life.

The focus of the conference is the developing brain and its impact on learning and behaviour of children.  The conference aims to have a deeper look into the importance of reflexes, senses and exercising the body, as well as private/inner speech and mind-mindedness to sharpen the brain.  In addition, as practitioners, you get a chance to strengthen your own knowledge and expand your techniques for success.

We invite you to join us in this, the largest gathering of Montessorians across the UK, to learn more about the latest brain developments, meet like-minded people, join the debate and shop from the wide range of exhibitors.

Speakers include:

  • Sally Goddard-Blythe, Author, Freelance Consultant and Director of Institute of Neuro-Physiological Psychology (INPP)
  • Charles Fernyhough, Developmental Psychologist, Department of Psychology, Durham University
  • Susie Pearl, Writer, mentor and success coach.
