New Chairman for Region 4 - The North of England

The MSA are delighted to announce that Alison Barker of Rooftops Montessori in Richmond, North Yorkshire has been appointed as Regional Chairman for MSAs Region 4. This large region covers the North of England.

Alison Barker (pictured) moved to North Yorkshire in 2007 and took over Rooftops Montessori Nursery School. She studied at LMC in the early 90s prior to moving to Hampshire where she ran several nurseries before opening her own. She sold her nursery on becoming married and spent time working in mainstream settings, generally supporting children with special needs. Alison and her husband, Bill, have been busy updating Rooftops, developing the outdoor area and renovating their home.

Alison is looking forward to meeting MSA members in her region and will be in contact shortly.
