Author of several books on child development, Sally is a freelance consultant in neuro-developmental education and Director of the pioneering Institute for Neuro-Physiological Psychology in Chester (INPP). Sally Goddard-Blythe trained at the INPP in 1987/88 and joined the permanent staff in 1988. Since that time she has written numerous articles and papers on neuro-developmental factors in educational difficulties. Sally has lectured on the role of infant reflexes in development and later learning problems to many different groups throughout Europe and in different parts of the United States.
Charles Fernyhough

Educated at Cambridge, with a PhD in Developmental Psychology, in 1995 Charles’ writing has been published in several anthologies, including New Writing 11 and New Writing 14, and translated into seven languages. He has been awarded with a Time to Write Award from the Northern Writers’ Awards and an Arts Council of England Grant for the Arts. He has taught creative writing, with a particular focus on psychological processes in reading and writing, in a variety of contexts around the UK. Between 2004 and 2006 he worked as a mentor on the British Council’s Crossing Borders project for African writers. He is currently a faculty member of the School of Life, and works as a part-time Reader in psychology at Durham University.
