Who are you?

I am the Academic Tutor for the new format Distance Learning course

What do you consider to be the best thing about working here?

Meeting fellow Montessorians from all over the world, all of whom have such varied life stories and experiences, and thus contribute to the Montessori movement in such a unique and diverse way. It is truly a melting pot of culture, experience, talent and individual personality which makes working here very exciting indeed!

What is your favourite childhood memory?

Having just moved over from South Africa, my childhood is filled with memories saturated by sunshine and blue skies. Favourite amongst these would be family holidays camping in the Drakensberg Mountains, where we would disappear at sun-up, and only return sunburned and exhausted in time for dinner around the campfire under a sky thick with stars.

What do you like doing when you are not involved with Montessori?

Getting to know my new home here in London exploring the parks and museums in and around the city. In summer, walking, cycling and picnics by the river. In winter, cooking and enjoying long lazy dinners with friends.
