MSA Continued Professional Development Training

Since the Montessori Schools Association training programme was launched 4 years ago, over 2500 Montessori owners, managers, teachers and assistants have taken one or more of the workshops available.

Some have used the opportunity to refresh their existing Montessori skills, whilst others have learnt a completely new one like teaching children's yoga or learning more about neuro linguistic programming.

This year, we have acted on your feedback and have changed the way we deliver some of the training so that it meets your needs. One of the new workshops introduced is material making, which will help you get your shelves filled with even more Montessori materials, there will be workshops available on the new Early Years Foundation Stage and there is still the opportunity to up-skill your staff in an easy, cost-effective way. The training colleges are undoubtedly the best way in which to achieve your Montessori formal qualifications, and there are a wide variety of locations and ways in which to undertake formal training; but finding cost-effective CPD workshops can be more difficult and hopefully this year the MSA is again meeting this need.

We will continue to bring the training to you and your team at your setting and our trainers will continue to tailor the day based on the skill and experience level of your staff and the setting's requirements.

This year we will also be running some workshops based in a central location within your region for individual members to come along to. This might suit you, for example, if you are a small setting with only a few members of staff and cannot justify the cost of a training day or if you are unable to use your own premises at the weekend.
