Your questions answered
How many members of staff can attend the workshop?
You can invite any number of staff up to the maximum number allocated on the course details overleaf. For some workshops it might be appropriate to invite your Area EYDCP or Senco representative.
What happens if my premises are not suitable to host a training event?
Give us a call and we will try to find somewhere suitable for you and your staff to be trained.
I am a small school and do not have enough staff to fill a training day?
It may be possible to team up with another school in your area. Tick the box on the booking form and we will attempt to find a school in your location interested in the same workshop, so you can partner up and share the costs. If the course is appropriate why not invite parents and ask for a small contribution towards the cost of the course? Or you can wait until a regional training day is put on and attend that.
Do I need to speak to my trainer before the course?
For some workshops such as the Montessori Skills, Material Making Workshop and the Computerised Record Keeping workshop we strongly recommend you and your trainer make contact with one another prior to the workshop to discuss the skill level and experience of your staff. We will facilitate this introduction.
Does the training have to be on any particular day?
We can deliver training on either weekdays or Saturdays. In some cases this will depend entirely on the availability of your trainer. But we will try to accommodate your requirements as much as possible.
Can I book more than one workshop per school?
Workshops will be allocated on a first come first served basis. But we will compile a waiting list to draw on at a later date if the opportunity arises.
